San Antonio Leadership

Kristina Patino, Director

Kristina Patino attended Holmes High School in San Antonio where she played basketball throughout her high school career. She then went on to continue her education at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Coach Patino began her coaching career during her time at UTSA by coaching the Summer and fall teams for NISD, and SAISD affiliated AAU Teams. She coached elementary co-ed teams, Middle school girls, and Varsity girls basketball teams.

During her college career she also played semi professional women’s tackle football for the San Antonio Regulators in the IWFL for three years.

Following college, Coach Patino became the Head Girls Varsity Coach at IDEA Walzem where she led her girls to win the campuses first regional championship in 2018 within her first year of becoming the Head Coach.

Coach Patino continues to be the head coach for the girls basketball program for 6th- 12th grade and is now the Middle School Athletic Director for her campus.

Coach Patino has a total of 7 years of experience coaching youth, high school, and AAU Basketball. Coach Patino continues to reside in her hometown of San Antonio Texas.
